My mom took this picture while at a stoplight in aurora, she says it was a rambler ambassador, but I cant figure out the specific model. She didnt take a good photo and I wasnt there. Im usually really good at this, this is bugging me.

For some reason I'm thinking either an old Cadillac or something French.

GAAAA

I recognize this, but I *cannot* seem to figure it out. What's daffy is that you can pin down the year stylistically to between 59 an 61 with almost total certainty, but I dont.remember. what this is.

You are right - it does look very close to an Ambassador wagon. Still something off about it though... http://hooniverse.com/2010/09/08/hoo…

DODGE. Thank you. The lines said something Chrysler, but Dodge was the one I hadn't tried yet. I was plumbing the Plymouth depths.

I followed up with a further GIS, and it looks like that permutation is '62 only.EDIT: and/or plymouth '61. Chrysler, you cray.

Glad I could help. I saw those fenders and know it was either an early '60s Dodge or Plymouth. Didn't do enough research to identify it as a Plymouth.
